Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru
Our Focus East Africa Tours guide will meet you in Nairobi early in the morning and brief you about your upcoming 3 Days Naivasha Nakuru safari. You will then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with a short stop over at one of the elevated View Points to have a look at the Great East African Rift Valley. You will then proceed to the bottom of the valley where Lake Nakuru is located for a late morning game drive in which you will have an opportunity to see the reticulated Giraffes, Waterbucks and Rhino’. You will thereafter have a have a picnic style lunch at one of the popular picnic points at Lake Nakuru.
The afternoon game viewing drive will give you an opportunity to thousands of Flamingos feeding along the Lake Nakuru shores. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Transfer from Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
Day 2 of 3 Days Naivasha Nakuru safari, after an early breakfast you will transfer to Lake Naivasha to Kenya’s highest lake standing at an elevation of 1880m above sea level. Lake Naivasha is a stunning freshwater lake, fringed by dense papyrus with Hippos basking in the lake and Buffalos feeding on the shores. Among the birds you will see at Lake Naivasah include the Grey-capped Warbler, Brimstone Canary, Spectacled Weaver, Red-billed Fire finch and 350 other species. Boat trips on the lake or a nature walk on crescent Island where you reach Wildebeest, Zebra and Giraffes from close are optional.
Day 3: Transfer from Lake Naivasha to Nairobi
After an early morning breakfast, you will have a final game viewing drive via the slopes of the Great Rift Valley. You will reach Nairobi in time for lunch
