Day 1 – Arusha – Lake Manyara
Our Tanzania safaris guide will meet you in Arusha town, brief you about your upcoming safari, after which, you will transfer to the Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival at the park you will check-in and have lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon you will head into the Lake Manyara National Park. The park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located African wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park is known for its biodiversity consisting of several wildlife species including one of Africa’s densely populated African elephants herds, the rare tree-climbing lions and extensively large flocks of flamingo attracted by the algae in Lake Manyara.

Day 2 – Lake Manyara National Park – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After an early breakfast we descend 600m into this magnificent Ngorongoro crater for a morning game drive. The Crater is one of the most densely populated with several wildlife species with an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s very last remaining black rhino.
The major reason as to why many wildlife habitat the crater is its year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater habitats a vast variety of wildlife, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, hippo, the giant African elephants buffalo, eland and warthogs. The park is also known for its dense population of predators including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals and the elusive leopard. You will enjoy your packed lunch at the crater, after which we travel back to Arusha.
