Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Early in the morning at 7:00 am, our Focus East Africa Tours Guide will pick you from the airport or hotel and transfer you to Bwindi impenetrable National park. You will have brief stopovers at the equator to take photos and later at Mbarara for lunch. After lunch continue to the park arriving in late afternoon, this park has many animal species but mostly famous for the mountain gorillas as well as colobus monkeys and chimpanzees. Upon your arrival, check in at the lodge and later relax at the lodge for the evening. Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest Your gorilla trek experiences begin at first light of the day as you take a hot cup of coffee while making final preparations to explore the mist covered jungles. The safari guide will escort you to tourism rangers’ office and help you complete all trekking formalities and shortly ranger guides will lead you into the thick jungles full to the brim with wildlife species. Be attentive as ranger guides explain each circumstance in detail before ushering you to the trekked gorilla family browsing on foliage to nourish their huge bodies. You will spend approximately an hour taking photos, interacting with and admiring their wild nature before descending to the base camp and onwards to your hotel. You will do a guided community walk after lunch and get samples of African homestead set up. Day 3: Departure back to Kampala After your early breakfast you will depart for Entebbe Via Kampala. You will have lunch in Mbarara and another stop will be at Mbambire drum makers point. Continue to Kampala arriving late afternoon. The guide will drop you off to the hotel or at the airport to catch your flight back home.
